Abolishing the Borders From Below will present preparations for G-8 summit that will take place in St. Petersburg, July 2006. 17:00 - 18:00 Psychiatry. Lecture and discussion on psychiatry from anarchist perspective. What is psychiatry, how it's used and what influence it has... 18:00 - 19:00 Presentation of publishing project Intu and magazine A-Kontra from Czech. Discussion will include some possibilities of cooperation and ideas on anarchist publishing in Eastern Europe, it's limitations, etc. 19:00 - 20:00 Barbarism meets Barbarism. Eastern Europe is under attack by neoliberal/wild capitalism, and Abolishing the Borders From Below will speak on example of Walbrzych-Biedaszyby region in Poland, where coal-mines were closed and misery reached critical point. Anarchist groups established contacts in the region and support ex-miners. |
